I’ve been the lone wolf working out at 3am and never doubted my safety in the gym or the parking lot. The club is located in a plaza with a well-lit parking lot. The facility is constantly being upgraded with new equipment and additions. There are tons of security cameras throughout the facility. There are cubbies to store your belongings, not lockers that can be secured with a lock, but I was never worried about theft. The bathrooms and showers are disability-accessible a secondary benefit of that is that they’re spacious. The club looks small, but I’ve never had frequent issues with having to wait for equipment to be free, even during early evenings when it seems like everyone is rushing in from work. They’re always encouraging, regardless of what fitness level you are. They know you’re here to exercise and decompress from the day and wouldn’t try to distract you from becoming a better you. They’re very good about establishing a connection with club members so that we’d be comfortable reaching out to them if we need anything, but are not over bearing, like if they were trying to sell you additional services. Club staff are always very friendly and personable, greeting you by name and sincerely asking how you are, and maybe sharing a joke or two. If none of that sounds like you and you’re the lone wolf working out in the dead of night, that’s fine too. If you’re a social person and like to work out in the group setting, there is a wide range of group work-out sessions (kickboxing, bootcamp, etc) available at varied times throughout the week.
ANYTIME FITNESS HOW TO
If you’re learning about how to establish a more healthy lifestyle, they’re there to provide nutritional and fitness support. The club is set up well to accommodate individuals of all fitness levels. Matt and Christine are awesome and I give them all the credit for creating a positive, judgement-free environment that keeps club members returning. If you’re simply breezing through the reviews and want the short version: they provide the best bang for your buck - low, affordable monthly membership (and $ 25 annual club enhancement fee) for 24 hour access to a clean and well-maintained facility with a variety of exercise equipment. I was a member of this gym for a little over a year until I cancelled my membership due to relocation to another state, not because of any dissatisfaction or issues with the club. Overall, it’s the care of the staff, the welcoming and motivating atmosphere, and the 24⁄ 7 open doors that keep me coming back regularly and happily. The studio has some bikes and TRX stuff, and a projector to watch workout videos you can choose from. There is a small area to throw down mats to do floor work, but if it’s crowded it is usually an option to go into the studio.
ANYTIME FITNESS FREE
There are two rows of cardio machines, the usual array of weight machines including an assisted pull up machine, and an adequate free weight area. It’s well lit, the ceilings are high, there’s ample room to move about freely and the soundsystem is kept at a good volume. There is a Facebook group for the gym where the trainers will keep people in the loop if there’s extra spots and so on. I don’t do any of the classes, but the attendees always seem psyched for them.

When they are working with clients they don’t interrupt the regular’s routines. Christine and Matt will likely greet you by name and the trainers Rebecca, Keith, and Emily will smile hello. The staff are very friendly but not overly so.

I use the weights area for the most part and it’s not been much of a bother to wait for equipment if they’re in use.

It seems like 6− 7pm is when I’ve noticed the most people. There are two spacious unisex shower rooms in addition to two unisex toilet/changing rooms, and in the 6 months I’ve been going here I’ve only had to wait once for a shower. I really like this system, it’s the most secure I’ve felt at a gym and at the same time I think it adds to the sense of community shared with fellow gym goers. There are no lockers, there are cameras everywhere and the doors track who goes in and out. I was really impressed that Matt the owner took so much time on telling me everything about membership and the space even though I walked in ready to sign up. It’s definitely paid off and I’ve had an excellent experience here. I wanted to try a 24 hour gym so that I could take the excuse of the gym being closed away from myself.
